As Türkiye's largest investment in fundamental science, forming the space sciences ecosystem, we are an advanced research infrastructure founded in partnership between Atatürk University and TÜBİTAK.
DAGTPS is the Atmospheric Seeing Turbulence Profile System and consists of 2 telescopes of 30 cm diameter. It is important for monitoring and analyzing atmospheric conditions, observatory site selection, and performance testing of the telescope optics.

Methods
Depending on the mask used and the parameters obtained, GDIMM and MASS-DIMM methods are available.
It is a method applied by optionally closing one of the apertures of a mask with 4 apertures. The basis of the method is the calculation of atmospheric seeing from the PSFs of a single wavefront obtained at two different positions.

It is a system that combines the MASS and DIMM systems in a single device at the focal plane, thereby enabling atmospheric turbulence measurement using the full aperture of the telescope. The MASS-DIMM device has a fast camera for the DIMM part and four photomultiplier tubes for the MASS part.
