Antalya TUG Campus

As Türkiye's largest investment in fundamental science, forming the space sciences ecosystem,we are an advanced research infrastructure founded in partnership between Atatürk University and TÜBİTAK.

The Antalya TUG Campus is located southwest of the city of Antalya, on the Beydağları range, an extension of the Taurus Mountains, at the 2550 m high summit of Bakırlıtepe. The Saklıkent Ski Center is located at the foot of Bakırlıtepe.

Meteorological Conditions

The Antalya TUG Campus is a region at an altitude of 2550 m above sea level where the temperature difference reaches approximately 50-55°C throughout the year. The challenging mountain climate of the observatory campus stands out with meteorological data that directly affect observational activities.
